I can't get on the geekshed.net server. Here is its description:
[17:31:05] Running lightIRC 1.1 Build 30. Project home: http://www.lightirc.com
[17:31:25] Flash policy problem. If you are the server owner, please read http://redmine.lightirc.com/projects/li ... structions. You need to install a flash policy daemon at irc.lightirc.com (port 843).
I am not owner of the server so yeah. Its going haywire.
Everyone is exiting from Ping Timeout. I hope this problem is fixed. Thanks! :D Oh server is Boomer.GeekShed.net

Boomer was misbehaving this afternoon, but he was punished and is back online. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I'm still having the same issue here. I can log in without any problems but most of my members apparently can't. They all get the flash policy error. Usually refreshing a few times helped but even that workaround seems to fail now. :(

You're using a flash-based IRC client, yet you're connecting to a standard IRC server. Find out what the flash IRC server is for your said network (usually it's something like flashirc.lolololol.com).

I think you are incorrect. Geekshed servers support LightIRC.
See this
http://lightirc.com/servers.html
and this
http://www.geekshed.net/2011/03/using-t ... -geekshed/

Phil fixed this server problem in #help.

Users occassionally get this error but a refresh usually fixes it.
