How do I become the owner of a chat

I have no control of my chat and I don't know how to get ownership.

Drop by #help and we can help you. Usually it's something simple, like the channel needs to be registered.

If you know the "founder password" to your channel, you can get owner access from ChanServ with this command:
/cs identify [#channel] [password]
Substitute your #ChannelName, and Password where you see []s
Note that after you do this, you will have to rejoin the channel:
/cycle [#channel]
